Saul Marshall is on the run.
As a wave of seemingly random assassinations engulfs California, Marshall finds himself drawn into a situation spiralling out of control.
He soon discovers some of the webs’ most secure protocols have been compromised by a rogue team of former Chinese agents. When Marshall realises what they plan, the stakes are raised…
And that’s before the Secretary of State gets involved. Can Marshall unravel the deceit and tricks before it’s too late? Can he stop the carnage, or will he become part of it?
One thing is for certain: either way his enemies will never forget.
What a book! I was hooked from the start, I wanted to know more, needed to know more. Now to understand this isn’t my typical book or storyline that I would read, but the Prologue blew me away. Never Forget is the second in the series compiled by Richard Davis, a follow up to False Prophet, Richards debut thriller.
Now I can hear a lot of people ask how can the prologue define a book, there is one line, the very last penultimate piece which sent me headlong into Never Forget.
And so – swallowing the sickening hysteria – she turned back, and did the only thing she could to save her sister: she placed a trembling finger on the trigger and pulled….
Saul Marshall is off the radar, intent on staying that way, until a nondescript call comes over the police scanner, a simple car chase, becomes a kidnapping. Against all of Saul’s powers of reason he rescues Ellen, now they are being targeted. The storyline of Never Forget takes you down the routes of political disquiet, cyber terrorism encompassing the Dark Net and One Mans quest to stop it all.
Richard has written this second instalment in the Saul Marshall series with the intent of revealing more about Saul. Even with the knowledge of Saul previously being a conman in his teenage years, we learn more about those years and more from his time in the FBI, building a bigger picture of Saul, with more to come, hopefully in the next instalment.
Cleverly written, full of twists n’ turns and just when you think the storyline has concluded a false ending is thrown your way, leading you to delve deeper to the ultimate climax.
A thriller that will leave you wanting more.
